Concerns are mounting among staff over the future of well known international frozen food store and local employer Iceland.
There's an immediate recall of all imported frozen food of animal origin from Iceland Ireland, who have stores locally in Longford and Roscommon
The Food Safety Authority says it affects those imported into the country since the 3rd of March this year.
Consumers are advised not to eat any imported frozen food of animal origin bought from its stores since that date, as a precaution.
It's also directing the company to recall the implicated products from its shelves.
The FSAI say the breaches of food legislation related to the recall were 'very serious'.
