The issue relates to traffic turning off the N4 at Annaduff GAA grounds and the Leitrim GAA Centre of Excellence.

There has been an increase in car crashes approaching two GAA facilities in south Leitrim, according to a councillor.

The issue relates to traffic turning off the N4 at Annaduff GAA grounds and the Leitrim GAA Centre of Excellence.

Leitrim County Council says full right turning lanes are in place - and the works are in line with guidelines from the Department of Transport.

But Fine Gael councillor Maeve Reynolds says there are still safety concerns.

Councillor Reynolds is concerned about the increase in crashes.
