Five Local Electoral Areas are recording incidence rates in the top ten nationwide.
Four of these are in the Northern Sound region, while there is one in the Shannonside region.
The Ballybay Clones Local Electoral Area has the 2nd highest incidence rate in the country based on figures dating up to the 23rd of August.
The area has a figure of 2,318.2 which also sees it top the table in the region.
This is followed by the Bailieborough Cootehill LEA in Cavan which is sitting 3rd in the country with a rate of 1,900.5
While the Monaghan electoral area in previous months had recorded the highest in the county it has moved down, however, it still sits 5th nationally at 1,471.7.
Slightly further down the table is the Boyle LEA in 7th and Cavan-Belturbet in 9th, each recording 1,186 and 1,024.7 respectively.
Elsewhere, the Carrickmacross Castleblayney MD is recording a rate of 877 while, the Ballyjamesduff LEA is sitting at 720.9 the lowest in the Northern Sound Region.
In the Shannonside Region Athlone the Roscommon electoral area is over the national average at 699, while Athlone is sitting below on 365.
In Longford. Cases are on the rise in north Longford with Granard reporting 590, however, both Longford and Ballymahon electoral area are below on 317 and 334 respectively.
Finally, Leitrim's rates remain below the average of 526.4 with the Carrick on Shannon and Ballinamore LEAs both on 334.
