Construction work will start next year on a long-awaited bridge outside Carrick-on-Shannon.
Hartley Bridge is located around halfway between Carrick and Cootehall, and is in poor condition.
Leitrim County Council has been granted planning to demolish it and build a new bridge around 25 metres away.
