A series of public consultations will take place this week in relation to a proposed wind farm on the Roscommon/Galway border.
Bórd na Móna and SSE Renewables are inviting members of local communities in Ballyforan, Ballygar and Ahascragh to provide feedback on Derryfadda Wind Farm.
The proposed location for the facility is on Bórd na Móna's landback on Derryfadda, Boughill and Gowla bogs, which are located in east Galway.

The joint venture is still at the early stages of development and both stakeholders say the number, location and height of turbines has yet to be determined.
The first public consultation event takes place this evening at Ballyforan Community Centre from 5 to 8.30 pm.
There will be further meetings at the Mattie McDonagh Centre in Ballygar and Ahascragh Community Centre in Ballinasloe tomorrow and Thursday.
