Leitrim County Council is to receive funding to carry out repair works in a village badly affected by a 'cloudburst'.
Homes and businesses in Ballinglera found themselves under several inches of water after a freak rainfall event in August.
Local TD and Minister Frank Feighan has confirmed the Council is set to reive three separate tranches of money, totalling just over €150,000 to carry out repair works on a bridge of the Leitrim way, as well as rural roads and clearing of drains.
