Councillor calls for urgent upgrades for playground in Leitrim estate

There are calls for a playground in an expanding Ballinamore housing estate to be urgently upgraded.
Fianna Fáil councillor Gary Prior wants the council to address the basketball court in the Lahard estate, as it's in poor condition.

He made the call at this week's meeting of Ballinamore Municipal District.
Councillor Prior says the works are needed as there's a growing number of children in the area.
