Councillor to propose motion for new library in Carrick-on-Shannon

A Leitrim councillor is calling for funding for a new library in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Fine Gael's Maeve Reynolds will propose the motion on Monday at a meeting of Carrick Municipal District.

She wants an accessible, multi-purpose educational and social space for the community.
Carrick already has a library in the town, but Councillor Reynolds says it's not suitable.
