A beloved country music star will be performing at a local prison.
UK and Ireland-based singer, Nathan Carter, will be entertaining prisoners at Castlerea Prison.
Carter and his band will be performing in a separate, staff area in the prison, with the concert being live-streamed on the prisoners' TV channel.
Details of the show were revealed by the Irish Prison Service, which said it was part of a fundraiser for three causes in Roscommon and surrounding counties.
