Roscommon County Council has been given approval to undertake work on 30 roads through the Local Improvement Scheme this year.
In March 2020, it received over 350,000 euro (355,104) under the programme for 2020, and engineers divided the 50 current applications into a priority list of 30, with a further 20 making up a secondary list.
All applicants have been informed that the works will commence when the local contribution is received with all works due to be complete by October this year - when the status of the waiting lists become clear.
The total value of the works on the secondary list of just over 353,000 euro (353,658) but this may diminish if applications become ineligible or if they are upgraded as a priority for this year.
