The couple who died in a house fire in south Roscommon have been named locally.
Joey Tumulty, who was 54, and 44-year-old Nuala Kenny, both died when a blaze gutted their home near Rooty Cross, Moore, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Mr Tumulty was a plasterer who had worked in a local farm supply business in Ballinasloe, while Ms Kenny, who was originally from Clonburrenm, was a health care worker.
Postmortems are taking place on their bodies after which the Gardai will determine their investigations. It's understood the incident is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.
