Shortly before 11am on Monday, Gardaí searched a car in the Ballymore area of the town and recovered quantities of Cocaine, Ecstasy and Cannabis.

The operation involved involved more than 60 Gardaí and Detectives from units including the Armed Response Unit and Dog Unit.

In passing sentence, Judge Martina Baxter says the attack was highly organised and deliberate to incite fear.

The seizures and arrests were made in recent days

His trial, which is expected to take up to three weeks, is due to get underway on the thirteenth of November.

The air ambulance attended the scene but the extent of any injuries are not yet known.

The three men were also convicted of violent disorder, criminal damage and aggravated burglary.

Nationally 2.3 million euro has been raised for charities and organisations through court fines last year.
