All urgent inpatient, day surgery and diagnostic services at Roscommon University Hospital have been postponed for the next two weeks due to an outbreak of the virus onsite and the ongoing Omicron wave.
The cancellations also expend to face to face outpatient appointments which are being deferred with virtual outpatient clinics taking place where possible.
The Hospital has confirmed that patients will be contacted directly over changes to any procedures or appointments.

Meanwhile the Medical Assessment Unit and the Roscommon Injury Unit will remain accessible to the public.
