Covid-19 vaccine booster jabs to be given from next week

A Covid-19 booster vaccination programme will begin next week.

The HSE will start offering third dose appointments to people with compromised immune systems from Wednesday.

The jabs will start to be administered from next Friday.

NIAC recommended earlier this month to offer booster mRNA vaccines to immunocompromised people over the age of 12.
