The county's five-day moving average of positive cases is currently eight, while its incidence rate is over one-and-a-half times that of the national average.
Westmeath recorded 106 cases in the last 14 days, with 43 in Cavan, 24 in Longford, 28 in Monaghan and 13 in Leitrim.
Buncrana in Donegal has a Covid-19 incidence rate of six times the national average. Dungarvan in Waterford has the second-highest in the country.
