A Creggs native has been appointed as a Commissioner for Oaths in County Roscommon.
Kenneth Hegarty was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Donal O'Donnell this week.
As a Commissioner for Oaths, the Roscommon town resident is authorised to administer oaths and affirmations, take affidavits and statutory declarations, and certify documents for use in legal proceedings for County Roscommon.
Kenneth is a qualified financial advisor with over 20 years experience and in 2021, the Minister for Justice, Helen McEntee T.D appointed him as a Peace Commissioner.
Speaking on the announcement the former Roscommon footnaller said he was honoured to get the support from members of the legal profession and business people from all over the county the nomination for Commissioner for Oaths.
