The funeral is taking place today of a Croatian grandmother whose body was found on bogland in south Roscommon.
It's taking place in Coosan, Athlone, near where she lived.
58-year-old Mirjana Pap came to Ireland over 20 years ago and was living in a house in Beechville in Athlone.
She had three adult children - two men and a woman aged in their 20s and 30s - and a grandson.
She worked in the Athlone Accommodation Centre in Lissywoolen, which is where hundreds of asylum-seekers and refugees live in mobile homes.
Her body was found at Curraghaleen on Monday, December 30th.
The mother and grandmother vanished from her home in Athlone two days earlier.
Her son Nebojsa Pap has been charged with her murder.
Mirjana's funeral service will take place in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Coosan today at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery.
