The ESB has moved to assure people they won't be left footing the bill for repair works caused by damage from recent storms.
At one stage 768,000 premises were without electricity after the record-breaking winds of Storm Éowyn last month.
There was concern customers would have to pay more in order to cover the repair costs.
However the company issued a statement last night clarifying the costs won't impact electricity prices in 2025.
Meanwhile around 5,600 homes farms and businesses are still in the dark as crews continue working to restore power.
