Naughten and Daly Finn to represent Fine Gael in Roscommon-Galway

Roscommon Councillor John Naughten and Arigna woman Dympna Daly Finn have been confirmed as Fine Gael's two candidates in Roscommon-Galway. Daly Finn was selected earlier in the night following a party directive to run a candidate in the north and south of the constituency.

Drum native, Naughten, defeated Senator Aisling Dolan in a vote later on in proceedings. Galway councillor Alan Harney had earlier withdrawn from the selection process. Over 300 members were eligible to vote at tonight's convention in The Abbey Hotel.
