Roscommon County Council has deferred making a decision on plans for a controversial wind turbine in the south of the county.
Natural Forces Renewable Energy had applied to construct a single wind turbine at Kilcash in April of this year, with a decision due this week.
Over 100 objections had been lodged against the project by locals, who raised concerns over its proposed tip height of 150metres.
The Council has confirmed that it is seeking additional information from the developers and the firm now has six months to respond.
