All decisions are expected in April on a permit for a controversial waste transfer station in Ballinasloe.
Bruscar Bhearna Teoranta, trading as Barna Recycling, applied to Galway County Council last year for a permit to operate a facility at Poolboy in the town.
The local opposed to the application organised a campaign to oppose the permit, and it's understood that 339 emailed submissions were made to the Council about the application - as well as approximately 300 written submissions which were posted.
January 15th was the deadline for submission - and the company has five weeks from that date to respond to any of the issue raised.
The Council is understood to be close to completing the initial processing phase and a firm date when the decision is due will be announced once after its completion.
