Delays expected as Longford Gardai respond to incident on local train service

Gardai in Longford have been asked to respond to an incident on a train servicing the Shannonside region this afternoon.

Irish Rail has confirmed the 11.05 Sligo-Connolly service was delayed in Longford in order for local Gardaí to deal with a matter on board and is running 20 minutes late.

The 11am Connolly-Sligo service is also behind schedule by approximately 10 minutes.
