Roscommon TD Claire Kerrane met with Irish Water officials this week to discuss outrages affecting householders on the Charlestown Road and the Knocknacunny area.
The Sinn Fein TD says following the meeting that design works have commenced for the replacement of a mains pipe of about 3.5km

The TD has also asked for mitigation measures when bursts occur to ensure that water supply is maintained by diverting water to affected areas through co-operation between Roscommon and Sligo County Councils
