Irish energy provider Energia and Galetech Energy Developments are to make the draft layout of the proposed Seven Hills wind farm in south Roscommon available for community consultation next month.
The plans are to be available for viewing online in the next couple of weeks and residents living within a 2 km radius of the proposed site, near Dysart, will get further details of the development6 in the post.
The controversial project came back on the agenda at the beginning of May this year, over six years after the local community won a High Court battle overturning approval for the initial plan.
The prosed project which now appears to be driven by Energia would see 21 wind turbines stretching over areas of Dysart, Brideswell and Taughmaconnell.
Energia has submitted a request recently to Bord Pleanala asking for a formal pre-application consultation meeting on the project.
The planning authority will rule after the meeting whether a new formal planning application can be lodged directly with the board.
