Former All Ireland captain with Mayo, Diane O’Hora will take over the reigns as manager of the Roscommon ladies football team following Michael Finneran’s departure at the weekend.

The Dominic’s clubman had highlighted his attention to step down from the role at the end of the season,  earlier in the year to allow, the county board the necessary time to appoint a successor.

Under his tenure, the Rossies claimed the Connacht intermediate title for the past 2 years while they also reached the last 4 of the All Ireland series in 2018 and 2019 where they lost out to Meath on both occasions.
