People in Longford are being urged not to attend a doctor's surgery on Saturday unless they have a prior appointment.
Dozens of people have been queuing outside the Longford Medical Centre at Leader Park in the last 48 hours after an error by the HSE led to an oversupply of vaccines at the surgery.
The vaccines will go out of use by Monday, so GPs from across the town are working together to deliver the 1,000 vaccines to people on surgery waiting lists and stand by lists.
However, several people have come to the surgery without an appointment or being contacted in advance, and people are being asked not to present to Dr Ali unless they have an appointment or confirmation from their GP that they should attend.
