A Longford farmer has spoken about how 5 of his sheep were recently killed following a dog attack. It follows after Longford County Council urged dog owners to ensure animals are under control at all times last week.
Speaking to the Joe Finnegan Show, Michael Hegarty said that 2 further sheep were injured in the attack. Michael had this advice for people seeing any unsupervised dogs over the Christmas:
