Incoming US President Donald Trump arrived in Washington last night to begin the celebration of his inauguration.
He’ll be sworn in for a second term as President tomorrow.
As Donald Trump brings his unique style of firebrand politics back to the White House tomorrow temperatures in Washington DC are set to plunge with HIGHS of minus five degrees Celsius forecast.
It’s forced the inauguration ceremony indoors for the first time since 1985 and Mr Trump will be sworn in inside the Capital building.
Most of the outdoor celebrations including the Presidential parade to the White House have now been curtailed and moved to Capital One Arena, a local sports stadium.
That’s also the venue today for a victory rally Donald Trump is hosting for his supporters.
Trump has managed to attract more celebrity support for this inauguration with Kid Rock, Billy Rae Cyrus and the Village People of YMCA fame among those performing at different functions.
The tech titans too are in town with Elon Musk, Jeff Bezon and Mark Zuckerburg due to attend the inauguration having all bent the knee and donated heavily to the Trump inauguration fund which is footing the bill for the incoming President’s parties.
Donald Trump left DC under a stormcloud in 2017 after the storming of the Capitol Building on January 6th.
He’s returning eight years later as the all-conquering 47th President of the United States, with many parts of the country and indeed the world watching with interest, anticipation, and no small measure of unease.
