It decided he violated his oath to protect and defend US democracy by inciting a mob - something the outgoing President denies.
A total of 10 Republicans voted against their party and Donald Trump.
It means he's the first US president to be impeached twice, after being previously charged over his calls with the Ukrainian President.
There will now be a trial in the US Senate, and if he's convicted, it's likely he'll also be barred from ever holding public office again.
