A motorist in Longford has been arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
The car was stopped by Gardaí on the N4 in Edgeworthstown on Wednesday evening.
It was discovered that the driver was an unaccompanied learner driver with no insurance or tax.

The driver then tested positive for cocaine following a drug test.
They were arrested and their vehicle was seized.
