Investigations are ongoing after a seizure of drugs was made at the Athlone mail centre this week.
The drugs, with an estimated value of €33,430, were discovered in parcels destined for various addresses throughout Ireland.
A kilo of cannabis worth over €20,000 as well as heroin, ecstasy and ketamine were discovered by the Revenue officers.

These seizures were made as a result of routine operations gardaí have been informed and inquiries are ongoing.
