The HSE has confirmed that just a handful of people have tested positive as a result of testing carried out in Drumshanbo over the weekend.
Approximately three-hundred people attended the Mayflower community centre across Friday, Saturday and Sunday last to get tested.
The centre was established in response to a reported Covid outbreak in the south Leitrim community that has resulted in a number of cases among teenagers at a local secondary school.
Dr Anthony Breslin, public health lead in the north-west, says they are happy with the Covid situation in the region and says just one percent of all tests carried out resulted in a positive case:
