Companies based at the Food Hub in Drumshanbo have all performed well in the past year despite the Covid pandemic.
That's according to Food Hub Manager Fergal McPartland who says the businesses were fortunate in that demand stayed strong for their products, and they didn't have to stop production for any reason.
The opening of the Shed Distillery over the past year has also been hugely beneficial according to Fergal who says that job numbers rose from around 85 to 120 in total at the site, not including part time jobs at the tourist attraction during the summer.
The Food Hub manager says one of the main challenges at the Drumshanbo centre is finding enough work space given the Covid restrictions but that is being resolved too...
