Over 7,000 Irish residents flew into Dublin Airport last week, after returning from abroad.
The most popular reason for their journeys was a holiday.
In total, over 11,800 people arrived in Dublin Airport last week - up 2 per cent on the previous seven days.
The number of foreign residents who flew into Dublin Airport increased by 11 per cent last week.
It involved 4,828 people, with British being the top nationality.
7,012 Irish residents also arrived into the airport last week - down 3 per cent on the previous week.
But the total figure for all arrivals was up 2 per cent.
