Fireworks are also being set off and a number of Gardaí have been attacked.

Another Girl aged 6 and a boy aged 5 were hospitalised along with a woman in her 30s.

The service covers Leitrim, Longford and Westmeath locally and is heavily used by commuters.

Reports claim that a number of children have been hospitalised in an apparent stabbing outside of a school.

It's understood the car involved had come to the attention of Gardaí shortly before the crash.
