The Arts Council has today announced over €1.4m worth of funding for arts organisations and centres in the Shannonside region.
Organisations in Co Leitrim received the highest amount from today's funding announcement with €925,000.
Teac Damsa and The Leitrim Sculpture Centre have both been awarded large scale funding receiving €410,000 and €350,000 respectively.
The Dock in Carrick on Shannon has also received funding from the arts council, receiving €156,000.
In Co Longford, Backstage Theatre received €275,000 while LD Dance Shawbrook will benefit from €78,000 worth of funding.
Finally in Roscommon, the Roscommon Arts Centre received close to €170,000 from today's funding announcement.
