Over €2.3 million in funding for road improvements has been announced for counties in the Shannonside region today. The funding is for roads damaged by persistent rainfall over the winter and spring months.
Roscommon has received the highest amount of funding in today's announcement with €1.2m. Meanwhile Leitrim and Longford have received €671,000 and €489,000 respectively for road improvements.
