Eight people arrested following major drug seizure in Dublin

Eight people have been arrested after a major drugs seizure on the Long Mile Road in Dublin.

Gardai say they discovered a substantial sum of drugs - believed to be cocaine during a raid yesterday.

This raid was carried out by gardai investigating the Kinahan organised crime group.

Officers from The Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau raided a premises on the Long Mile Road yesterday.

THey say a substantial quantity of drugs were found

The seizure hasn't been quantified yet but is believed to be in the millions.

Eight people were arrested and are being questioned at various stations in Dublin.
