Almost €250,000 (€249,703) has been awarded to community groups and organisations in the Shannonside region under a government Covid support scheme.
A total of eleven community groups across Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon will benefit from the third tranche of the Government's COVID-19 Stability Fund.
In Leitrim, €71,559 has been awarded to 4 organisations and in Longford, three organisations will share a total of €113,263.
In Roscommon, total funding worth €64251 will be shared among four community groups.
