Concerns are being raised about the lack of Community Welfare outreach clinics in Roscommon.
Elphin councillor Valerie Byrne says the clinics had been taking place on a regular basis in towns across the county prior to Covid, but they were halted due to the pandemic.
She says the face to face clinics have been a great help in the past to older people in particular who don't like doing business over the phone, or online.

The local councillor says that at a time of rising costs and challenges it's more important than ever that these clinics are made available again in the local town:
