It comes as the Monthly Homeless Report for October was released last week.

Data released over the weekend revealed that 136 people were accessing emergency support locally.

It's the first time the figures take into account those impacted by the lifting of the eviction ban.

There was over 9,000 people homeless across the country.

Nationally, a total of 8,323 people were without permanent accomodation in January, an increase from 8,190 in December

A record number of people are now seeking accommodation in Ireland at 11,397.
