A girl and a woman are seriously injured after a suspected stabbing in Dublin City Centre. Three other people, including two other children, have also been injured. All five injured people have been taken to different hospitals across Dublin, including Children's Health Ireland at Crumlin and the Mater Hospital.
It is understood that a man arrived and first attacked a woman, before injuring the children. He also sustained injuries and is now been treated in hospital, where gardaí are waiting to speak to him. Gardaí say they are following a definite line of inquiry and are not looking for any other person at this time.
