Employee numbers at IDA companies in Leitrim triple over ten years

The number of people employed in IDA-client companies in Co Leitrim has almost tripled over the past 10 years.
According to a presentation at a Leitrim County Council meeting today, it has grown from 413 in 2014 to 1,104 today.

The IDA's head of regional development, Ray O'Connor, said they are employed in four companies in the county.
But Independent councillor Enda Stenson was not impressed by the figures.
