Eleven Bank of Ireland branches across the Shannonside Northern Sound region have shut their doors for the last time in the last few minutes.
88 branches across the country are shutting today in a move towards online services.
In the Shannonside region customers in Elphin, Strokestown, Drumshanbo, Granard, Manorhamilton and Ballygar will now be without local branches.
In the Northern Sound Region, Cavan will see the closure of Kingscourt, Cootehill and Arva, while Castleblayney and Clones are to shut in Monaghan.
The Bank says the decision wasn't taken lightly and people can still access their services via An Post.
