Just over 400 people are still without power across the Shannonside region following severe lightning storms over night.
Crews have been restoring power to homes impacted by the thunderstorms, with power expected to be returned by mid afternoon.
While ESB Networks say none of the outages have been particularly disruptive, thousands are still without power nationwide.
Locally the majority of the remaining outages are in the North Longford region, with 300 businesses and residences with no electricity.
The outages are mainly confined to the Granard area, with outages reported in Clonfin, Annagh Lower and Abbeylara Court.
In Roscommon, 80 premises have no power currently with 64 of those in the Knockcroghery area and 16 in Roscommon town.
ESB Networks say that crews will have the majority of the outages restored by 2.30 this afternoon.
