The ESB says it's working to solve ongoing power outage issues in the Rooskey area.
Over 100 people attended a public meeting in the village last night to express their anger over long-term electricity blackouts. An ESB Networks representative told those present that problem forestry was impacting on supply in the locality. Area Manager Pat Nugent said efforts were underway to clear fallen trees and create a corridor for powerlines.
