People across the Shannonside region are being encouraged to clean up their local waterways this weekend.
'Flossie and the Beach Cleaners' are looking for volunteers to take part in Ireland's Big Annual Weigh-In.
The charity was set up by Flossie Donnelly and her mum, Harriet, who are actively raising awareness about plastic pollution and the damage it is doing to marine life and our oceans.

The event will run this Saturday from 3pm - 5pm, and the organisation is hoping people from Leitrim, Longford and Roscommon will sign up.
