The John McGahern Barracks Exhibition will be officially launched online later this morning at half past eleven.
The project has been worked on for several years by the Cootehall Community Development Group which took over the premises 8 years ago.
The barracks has been renovated at a cost of €200,000 and up to €25,000 has been spent on the exhibition itself.

The exhibition tells the story of the author and his insights into family life and other issues through video, storyboards, photos and artifacts. Maurice Gannon, Chairman of the Development Group says they are very confident this project will attract international as well as national attention:
