Roscommon County Council are advising the public of an extended road closure.
The N5 at its junction with the N61 in Tulsk to its Junction with the R361 in Frenchpark will remain closed until the 4th of August.
The closure is in effect between the hours of 8am and 6pm but the road will be open on weekends.

This is to facilitate resurfacing works between Frenchpark and Bellanagare.
Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to plan ahead.
