Ballaghaderreen has been given extra garda resources after a high-profile protest recently.
Garda management have told local TD Claire Kerrane it’s to provide support and reassurance to the community.
Over 430 people attended a demonstration in the town 10 days ago, after a teenager was allegedly assaulted.
